All Saints Church

Here we see why these simple, poor, uneducated fisherman are so brave. We can know understand why historians said, "Christianity spread so quickly because they died better than anyone else." The bravery and boldness of the early church is incredible. Why? The word used to describe Jesus in this passage is "hero." The apostles saw Jesus as their Hero or Champion, knowing that they were able to be act like heroes themselves.
