All Saints Church

These people had new life in them and it caused them to go and literally transform Roman society in 2 C’s, they were powerfully transformed by the Spirit of God! At All Saints, we have people that have been cut to the heart by the gospel message of Jesus. The new life is here!

This passage is filled with signs with the new life. We can make a long list but this morning we are going to look at the love that happens when Jesus changes a heart.

What is the sign? V. 44 “they were together.” When did they meet together? Everyday, constantly. Christ followers came together to worship and then they went to their homes, v.46. They enjoyed being together. They were always together; they were on mission together. They entered into a whole new mode of existence.

You never see the Apostles saying, “hey let’s meet together.” The people wanted to meet together. They didn’t need to be told. They had new life and it bonded them. They don’t get together because they had to, they had new life and it caused them to want to meet.

How do we explain this? This sign is not very evident in our own lives. We may need to have this stirred up in us. Let’s ask 4 questions:
