All Saints Church

We are going to look at the early chapters of the Acts. Essentially, Acts is the story of how the church was born and the way it’s influence spread all over the known world in a relatively short period of time.

It is obvious as we read through Acts that there was a great transformation in the Roman civilization that completely remade it and rocked it to it’s core. 2000 years ago there was a small band of peasants and slaves that believed Jesus was the son of God that came to the earth, lived, died and rose again from the dead.

That small group had no educational, social, economic or political power. Yet, in two centuries it swept up millions of people into a joy and peace that they had never known. It was the Christians in that society that were keeping that crumbling world together. They understood the importance of gathering...on purpose.
