We are going to look at the problem of fruitlessness caused by the misleading comfort of money; this leads to materialism and greed. The passage is very harsh and it is direct and not at all easy. Why is James so harsh?  Because fruitlessness is very problematic! A lack of growth. No transformation. Not saying that you aren’t a follower of Jesus, but don’t comfort yourself with a false assurance either, repent. It's about time for all of us to start going deeper.
