This morning we are going to look at how we control our circumstances. A normal and natural aspect to our life is how we set schedules. “today or tomorrow we are going to this place…” We set goals, time periods, make money. Is James saying we shouldn’t do that? I wish it were that easy.

James is arguing that we commit a sin that is so pervasive that we don't even know it. What is this sin? James says its when we make our plans, do our work, play, conduct our relationships and not include God. We therefore worry and fret over circumstances that naturally happen because we don't include in every aspect of our life.
