Put Up Your Dukes!

We are going to finish up James and here is our first installment!

More often than not, we aren’t peacemakers, we have conflicts with our friends, coworkers, spouses. Sometimes they are ongoing and sometimes they are like flashes of light, or they are like cold wars. James is telling us this is a common thing, but it really isn’t a proper thing.
We play a little game with ourselves and with the people we are warring, fighting with. We throw in some concern just to throw them and ourselves off a bit. So we can justify, in a sense, our irritation or lack of desire to make the relationship right.

I am sure we would all agree it can be quite draining to have conflict with people not matter what style your conflicts take. We don’t like the experience inside of us when we feel defensive, or in conflict with others. We want to get rid of it.
