We have been saying that the book of Hebrews was written to people who are about to give up because of how difficult life can be, they are tired and worn out. Interestingly, the climax of that argument is right here in this chapter. Would you agree that we need to become people who are more able to handle the difficulties of life as more important for us now than ever? There has never been a culture to cry “uncle” faster than ours. As a culture, we are left more unprepared for life’s difficulties than any culture before us.  This life is about endurance, we are going to learn what it takes to develop the kind of endurance that will get us through.
