Wise Relationships

There is so much to learn with regard to how wisdom relates to our relationships. Not just with people but with situations, experiences etc. Wisdom is the ability to bring things together, bring relationships together and help them connect when they otherwise wouldn’t. This brings us to the ultimate wisdom. What is that? The Bible says that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Let me say this, the fear of the Lord does not mean you are scared of him. In Psalm 130 it says, “with you there is forgiveness that you may be feared.”

Why would we fear when we understand that God loves us? Because the word fear means to tremble with awe and to be amazed. The beginning of wisdom means when you take your knowledge of God and begin to relate it to your life.

Most Christ followers have far more knowledge then they have wisdom because they don’t know how it relates! The only reason we worry and sin and not do things right is when our knowledge hasn’t turned into wisdom when we say, “If God is this or that…then…” At that moment the light becomes bright!

What makes a person a Christ follower and not a religious person is when they move from knowledge to wisdom. You learn to see how it relates. I have learned that God loves me, but now I sense it and realize it. What’s going on? Wisdom!
