We are continuing with James, we are going to finish up chapter 1 and look at anger and humility. An interesting combination to say the least. Anger can be used for good when trying to defend or protect or it can be cancerous and can eat away at your heart. There are marks of cancerous anger that identify a proud heart. The only way to keep those things at bay is to keep the mirror of God's word with us at all times. The mirror of God's work prevents anxiety and fear. When we hold the mirror of God's work up to our self daily it reminds us to feed our soul and mind with the truth and goodness of who God and Jesus are and what they have done to assure us. Such an incredible moment to realize the vast and depth of God's love inspite of our warped selves. God is good all the time!
